Pacifica or Murano?
DH and I looked at both this weekend. Pros and Cons of each
Pro for Pacifica--about $10,000 less and 2nd row heated seats.
Con: Looks like a station wagon (IMO)
Pro for Muraone--Sits higher up
Con: Costs $10,000 more
Anyone has either vehicle and you can help me decide??
Thank you.

Re: Pacifica or Murano?
I say Murano as well.
I looked at both when looking for a car and I did not like the terrible blind spots with the Pacifica. The back window IMO is way too small and you can not see out clearly when backing up. Because of the small back window the blind spots on the left and right were huge.

Re: Pacifica or Murano?
Personally I like the Murano better. I think that Nissan just makes a better vehicle.

Re: Pacifica or Murano?
Wow I can't believe it is a 10k difference.
I love the look of the Murano. The Subaru Tribeca looks very similar to the Murano. I think it might be a little cheaper.

i agree, althought i test drove it at night. i saw the nissan murano but it was too small on the inside for me. if you want reliability then i say go with the nissan, not saying chrysler is a bad company but nissan has a better rep.

Re: Pacifica or Murano?
I have never driven the Murano, but we rented and drove the Pacifica down to Florida in Novemeber. Although I really like it, it does have really bad blind spots. That is all my DH kept complaining about.

The Pacifica drives like a car. I rented one a few years ago.

Re: Pacifica or Murano?
we have a fully loaded murano (06) and are too happy with it. it was either this of the Subaru Tribeca. Both drive great in relationship to a car. Tribeca offers 3rd row seating (which we didnt need nor want).
heated 2nd seats is no big deal unless you will always have people in your car and its always cold. Murano, the back seats recline so you are not always up right.
Outside of the murano is more appealing however i loved the inside of the Tribeca (console layout)
never tried the Pacifica but i can understand the blind spots as we tired the HHR and it was horrible

Re: Pacifica or Murano?
I think we are leaning towards the Murano. I had DH read this post and he was like 'oooh'...thank you for all your inputs!
