Is there ANYTHING I can take? I'm waiting for my dr office to open up (I've got another 2.5 hrs) I've tried a heating pad & hot compresses. Is anything safe? yesterday & today I have been in so much pain from the accidentChat Icon

I thought bengay/icyhot was safe- until I searched it.. Good thing I didn't use it.... Help please.. Thanks

Re: pain relief during pregnancy

I used Tylenol Rapid Release throughout my pregnancy last year for bad back pain- 2 pills at a time. My chiropractor also gave me an Icy Hot type medicine to put on my back called Bio-Freeze. My chiro gave it to me so I'm not sure where you have to buy it from... I'll do a search. Feel better sweetpea!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

ETA: I only see it online at Amazon.com and Drugstore.com, among other online stores. I would call around to some local pharmacies and see if they carry it. I have the roll-on one (like the pic) which is great b/c it doesn't get on your hands but the gel is just as good.

Re: pain relief during pregnancy

plain ol' tylenol, right? I think I only have extra strength.. I know, this is such a stupid question, but since the accident I am now OVERLY neurotic about hurting the baby

Re: pain relief during pregnancy

I think tylenol only comes in extra strength, no? but I've taken it quit a few times this pregnancy. what about one of the heating pads that just stick to your back? icy/hot?
