pain when the baby move? should I call my OB?
I wonder if this is normal. For the past few days I've been feeling kicks, and a lot of movement (i would say 85%) on my left side. At first it feels a bit uncomfortable, like a pressure. But yesterday and today it started to hurt a bit, like a strain muscle. This only happens when the baby is moving.
Could be laying horizontally and her legs are on my left side?
ETA: I am 28wks

Re: pain when the baby move? should I call my OB?
I sometimes get a little discomfort-- pressure in certain spots, or a little pain in others... It's not really painful, so I don't think anything of it.
When I went to the doc the other day and he asked how I was feeling, I told him-- well, I have some aches and pains but I am sure that's normal. His response was-- yeah, and it will probably get worse.
I think if you are really in a lot of pain, you should prob call your doc-- but, as the baby gets bigger-- there is much more for them to play with in there, and get in the way of.

If you're feeling unsure about anything...ALWAYS call your dr..its probably nothing and just stretching pains...but its always better to be safe than sorry.

Re: pain when the baby move? should I call my OB?
Thanks ladies. I tried calling the office today, no answer
My gut tells me it's just the baby getting bigger, and she has less room in the tummy, hence my discomfort. But I still want to call just to be sure, since my next appt. won't be till Dec. 4th.
I can't believe I only have 85 more days till due date!

My baby gets in the strangest positions and it literally hurts like crap, totally normal, they did a sono at 37 weeks and laughed at how she positons herself..every body is built different and some of us just dont have much room! I get pains and stuff all the time and i am 39 weeks and this little momma is in no hurry i think!

LOL... maybe DD should migrate to my tush area, lots of room there!
I still couldn't get in touch with my OB's office, but I do think the discomfort is normal. As long as this child is comfy, I'll live!

I know this really isn't related to your orignal post, but I would be very bothered by the fact that you can't get in touch with your doctor's office.

.. i know. As much as I like my OB (which is a lot), I do not think I'll be back the next time I am preggers. That office is too busy, and sometimes people can be rude.
