Paint mixing question

Has anyone had a brand new can of paint remixed to make a new color? I got paint from Lowes and thought it would be a pretty cream but it's PEACH! What can I do? I have 2 gallons! I heard they can remix it. Do you think it will get really dark?

Re: Paint mixing question

They can remix *some* paint, bu not many. You can only add more tint, so you are starting from your original color, and adding more tint, so it will be darker. Also, there is a maximum amount of tint they can add to a gallon of paint.

Yes, I had this done with BM paint. If its a new can or almost full they can change the color to something in the same family or make it darker.

A friend of mine got paint that was too "peachy" looking also and they added something to it that made it a beige instead.
