Painting wood signs/letters
I am painting wood signs with letters attached for the babies room. DH is telling me I have to prime the wood first. I did the same thing for DC#1 and am 90% sure I didn't use a primer, but I can't completely remember. Do I have to prime first?

Re: Painting wood signs/letters
I have painted tons of wooden things with acrylic paint when crafting and I have never primed. I usually do 2 coats and it's fine.

Re: Painting wood signs/letters
Thank you! I remembered how I did Landons, I did a few coats of plain white first since it was the base color. I just did the same so it will be dry by tomorrow and I can do the fun stuff!
