Pampered Chef

My sister does Pampered Chef and she bought me a pizza making set with the stone and mix to make your own dough and a Panini press set. I love both items however and we use the pizza stone all the time. However, I do feel that they're overpriced and the ones from BB&B probably work just as well.

Re: Pampered Chef

I used to sell Pampered Chef so I have a lot of stuff. Definitely any of the stoneware. I have like 5 pieces and use them ALL the time!! I also like their metal baking pans and sheets. Other mentions: Garlic press, food chopper, garlic slicer, mini serving spatula, Mix N Scraper- large and small. Batter bowls, bamboo serveware, rice cooker, coarse microplane grater, measure-all cup, slice and serve spatula, and Twix-It clips . Those are all the things I use very regularly if not everyday.

Re: Pampered Chef

I use my stone for baking all of the time. I also like the chopped meat chopper and use that a lot.

Depending on how often you bake the individual brownie pan is great.

I'm a consultant for them, so I have tons of stuff. There are a lot of things worth having, but it all depends on how you cook/bake. I bake more than I cook, so bakeware is more important to me and I do not feel that I get consistent well produced baked goods from stoneware (ie - flat cookies and underplumped muffins). I also don't microwave, so that is not a big selling point for me. But I could not live without my bar pan, I've had the same one for 20 years. It is my go to for tons of things in the kitchen. But I also have a lot of pieces I thought I would like and over time, I wish I had never gotten. But that is based on how I cook and use my kitchen.

I went to several Pampered Chef parties this year. I hosted one, so I got a lot of stuff.

I like the garlic press and garlic slicer, the manual food processor (makes really good egg and tuna salad... finely chopped like from a deli). I also like the "mix and chop" tool for breaking up ground meat when cooking it (it's good for making taco meat and that type of thing).

In terms of bigger items: I have some of the stoneware that I like -- the round pizza stone and a bar pan. I also have the deep covered baker and a ceramic skillet. I think the quality is pretty good.

I love the stone wear I cried when my bar pan broke in the oven. I use my pizza stone all the time and I actually use it in my oven when I bake since it evens out my oven temps.
