Panera Bread salads
I am going to Panera tomorrow for lunch and was thinking of getting a salad. Which one would you recommend?

Re: Panera Bread salads
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I would not eat there. I used to like it until I did some research on the ingredients. Check this out: http://foodbabe.com/2012/04/16/panera-bread-the-healthiest-fast-food/

Re: Panera Bread salads
Fixed Link
I still eat there, as far as fast food goes, if I am out and need something to eat, a tiny bit of MSG won't kill me
I may avoid the greek salad from now on though...
To the OP, you can check all their ingredients online I believe and find something you're comfortable with

I don't care for their salads but their tomato soup is my absolute favorite!

Re: Panera Bread salads
There is bad stuff in food everywhere and if I let all this stuff bother me I would starve to death.
To the OP the BBQ salad is good. Also the Thai one.
Soup wise I get the black bean or french onion.

I hear what you are saying, but I think that people should be aware of it. For example, a few years ago, I used to eat at Panera a lot ,and I definitely would NOT have done so had I known about the ingredient list. Also, I think it is absolutely possible to cut way back on fast food without " starving to death". It just takes more effort and time.

I'm sorry, and please don't hate me, but the OP wasn't asking for a healthul alternative or for commentary. She just asked which salad people liked.

I just thought it was helpful information to put out there, not just for the OP, but for everyone on here. As I said, I would have loved it if someone told me a few years back, but I understand that not everyone feels that way. In any case, people can take or leave the information as they choose

Yeah well you know what?? I LIKE propylene glycol in my salads!! So there!!
I do appreciate what you are saying - I posted a similar link discussing Subway recently. I think it's nice to be informed and then go from there.

I completely agree ! Well, not about the propylene glycol. I think I'd rather leave that off the menu
