Yes. I love paradise island. The flight is short, there is so much to do and see. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
ETA: If you are looking at Atlantis, check out the RIU, which is right next door. It is all-inclusive and has a beautiful beach.

Re: paradise island - is it worth the $$$
We just got back from the RIU two weeks ago. Paradise Island is beautiful... but I would def look into the RIU.. It is alittle dated and run down right now, but they are closing 8/28 for renovations... They said they should be open by christmas... Even with it being alittle run down, it was nice. The food was great, the beach was beautiful, and your right next door to the Atlantis... Atlantis is beautiful, but everything is expensive.. the restaurants, drinks.... The only good thing about the Atlantis is that there is alot for the kids....
When we go back, its definitely the RIU, esp with the renovations. My SIL saw one of the renovated rooms and said it was gorgeous!

Re: paradise island - is it worth the $$$
I was checking out Atlantis (I thought Atlantis was the only resort on paradise island - guess we need to go on more vacations )
I liked Atlantis because it looks like the kids would really have fun - i don't want to only hang out at the beach or the pool.
if you stay at RIU can you access Atlantis for the day, ect?

Re: paradise island - is it worth the $$$
There were people with kids there... but not too many. You can walk onto Atlantis at any time, but you cant use the pool or the lagoon. It was $110 for a day pass (per person) which entitled you to the pool, lagoon, waterslides, and movie theater. We didnt think it was worth it so we didnt do it. Atlantis was FULL of kids though, so if thats what you are looking for, it may be worth the extra money.

Re: paradise island - is it worth the $$$
Paradise Island is def. worth it! I stay at the Atlantis every year. I believe they might be running specials now for the "Towers." If not, try the Comfort Suites next door. I stayed there last year for a day because we came in early. There is a FREE continental breakfast and you are entitled to passes for the Atlantis as well. I believe every other hotel including the RIU you have to pay for a day pass. They do check your bracelets throughout the resort.
