Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds

DD is 2 1/2 today adn she is not trained. She has gone a few times for my mother but has not interest in trying at our house. She is stubborn but when she is ready I think (hope) it will be easy.

Alex was 30 months old when I trained him. He still wears a diaper at night but I didn't have any problems training him he got it pretty quickly.

no pull ups straight to underware..I will let you know how it turns out.

this is what we did. Kaitee had only 4 accidents(over 2 days) then she learned how to control it and has done great since!

Good luck to you all!

DS is over 2 years old and has not interest in it. I got him the potty months ago but does not want anything to do with it.

Oh hell no...she has no interest and I am not pushing it. Once we get settled and I am off for the holidays I may try to seriously train her and see what happens

Oh no....not by a longshot. He's pee'd 1 or 2x but that's it. he likes to sit and make a noise like he's peeing and play with the toilet paper. My older son trained at 3 yrs, 2 months. my DD was 26 months (and completely on her own!! Gotta love that!) It varies. My DS is doing a 2 1/2 school program and it's 1/2 and 1/2 with kids who are pt'd and not pt'd.

Noperoo. She sits on the potty at school (4x/week) and she has gone on it once. At home she went pee pee and poop once (both months ago) and since then zero interest. Not pushing it yet... I think she is ready soon b/c she always tells me when to change her diaper.

Helz no....my boys are not interested in it at all. One time one of them picked up the potty seat I had and sat on it once I put him on the potty, but he just laughed at me. I am totally confidant that it will take them at least to their 3rd bday before they are ready.

Alex is daytime potty-trained.
She's wearing a pull-up at night, but sometimes wakes me to go to the bathroom, so we're getting there.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds

Nope, he was on a roll for a while but doesn't seem too interested anymore. DH is really pushing it and as much as I don't want to have 3 in diapers I don't want him to react negatively to the experience either.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds

DS is 25 mths and he will do #1 on the potty and #2 if I catch him on time. He will actually tell me he wants to go on the potty. On the way there he changes his mindChat Icon
