Parents whos kids go to daycare?`
Does your kids teacher ever give him/her a kiss on the cheek? Is it appropriate?
This is his second day there and I think im just jealous. They really like him which is a good thing. Am I just crazy??

I have seen mine kiss her on the cheek a few times.
I think it's good- I feel like they really care about the babies- it's not just a job to them.
Also I find that when I am holding a baby I get the urge to kiss their forehead or cheek- It's just like an instinct with me and babies. They are so kissable!

DS' infant room teacher does - she gives him a big squeeze and a kiss.

DS goes to an in-home daycare and she def kisses and hugs him. I don't think it's strange...I must say sometimes I do get jealous because she spends most of her time with him.

they dont kiss him hello or goodbye but they do kiss him throughout the day. i do understand the "jealousy" feeling though but soon you get over it and appreciate that they love your baby.
imo~ i think its nice he gets kisses ~ id rather them love on him than just leave him lonely in a swing or something.

Yes, and she plays with his hair if they are sitting during circle time or story time.
I think she is in love with my DS.

I guess that's true. I like the idea that they love him. I just dont want to leave him. I feel like I am going to miss so much :(

yep, he gets hugs and kisses and squeezes from many of his teachers and admins

Totally hug her and kiss her on the cheek. I'm totally fine with it. I'm glad they consider her like one of their own. She's the world to me so I want her to be the world to them!!!

Today is DD's 2nd day at daycare too and DD actually leaned in to kiss her teacher when we got there this morning so i'm assuming they do. It was cute!

When DS was in the infant room I saw his teacher kissing him in the lips! Hellz no!! I nipped that and that was a whole other thread But I'm totally fine with the cheek. They really do love them.
