Part time daycare... how do i find this? (and questions)
Just looking into it for DD when she gets a little older maybe 2 days a week...
We live in FL so no recs but would the daycare centers show online that they offer part time care? Or do I have to call around? I can't find much online.
If you have a fam member watch your DC some days and send them to daycare some days, do you find that beneficial? I think DD would love a school/daycare setting. Or should I just enroll DD and MIL in some classes?

It "should" say on their website if they offer part time.

If you are looking for a few days a week, you may want to search pre-school. I know in the area that I live there are a lot of daycares that offer pre-school a few days a week

Re: Part time daycare... how do i find this? (and questions)
MY Mom watches DS 2 days a week, DS goes to daycare the other 3. We use Kindercare and they offer as little as 1 day up to the whole week.
So there are centers that have part time care. Most do from what I found.

Re: Part time daycare... how do i find this? (and questions)
I called around and asked. My Mom watched DS FT for the 1st year. When he turned 13 months DS started daycare and he goes 3days/week. The other 2 days he is with my mom.
I would call any center you are interested in & ask. Some centers that normally don't do part time under 2yrs old told me that they will consider it because they had so many vacancies. With so many people getting laid off or losing their jobs, these people have pulled their kids out of daycare. So some daycares have more vacancies that they normally would and are willing to take part timers because they need the $$$.

Re: Part time daycare... how do i find this? (and questions)
Thank you! I did some searches for preschool and also found a website that had reviews for some of the schools (and some people mentioned part time)... I found one a block away from the university I work at.
If you don't mind me asking, how much do you guys pay for part time (3 days/week)? They told me $140/week for part time and $195/week for full time. I asked about 2 days/week but the director wasn't available to speak with so I have to call back later about that.
