Part time teacher ?
Does anyone know what the average salary is of a part time teacher in a public school? Like part time reading? I'm curious if it is a big pay cut from being a full time teacher. Thanks!

I think you make 1/2 the money of the f/t position. I had a friend who was a 3/5 music teacher and made 3/5 of the f/t salary

It'll say like a .5 position or a .7 position, and like DMck said, it's .5 or .7 of whatever the full-time salary would be.

I think they usually pay p/t teachers hourly but you would have to check the contract.
