Party Food

We have having a labor day pool party... 95% catered. The catering package includes:

"Our famous marinated, grilled or barbeque chicken, tender BBQ ribs, Italian sausage, peppers and onions, Long Island corn on the cob, fresh green salad and a homemade pasta salad, with all the necessary paper goods and sterno set ups."

I am also planning to make Orzo Salad and order a tray of mac n cheese and chicken fingers.

Apps include"
chips
dip
guac
pineapple black bean salsa
pigs in a blanket
cheese/veggie platter
focaccia pizzas (fresh mozz, roaster pepper, tomato)

Anything I am missing??!! Do I need more?

Re: Party Food

Sounds like an awesome menu!

I almost think you don't need the orzo salad, since the caterer is providing pasta salad (and you have another pasta dish with mac-and-cheese). And I always err on the side of having too much food. If you really think you need another side, maybe something like baked beans or a potato salad, but I don't think you really need it.

Are you having desserts? I think easy stuff for a crowd, like fruit salad, brownie/cookie platter, maybe ice cream cups, would be ideal!

Thanks!!

Yes, I am gonna hit mom up to make a fruit salad, or order one from the caterer. MIL is making a crumb cake and I know most people were gonna ask what to bring, so we were gonna say dessert! The caterer did tempt me with a cookie and brownie tray that we can also add last minute!!
