party planning help!!! need some ideas for our Carousel party.

I want to keep the color scheme similar to that of the carousel horses, which have a lot of muted jewel tones and pastels with gold.

I am thinking of doing a small "treats/candy" table in keeping with a sort of carnival/amusement park mood. any suggestions? nothing joking hazardish though. last year I did caramel apples...is it lame to do it again?

besides the candy, I wanted to do a another favor? was thinking I could ask my brother to draw another coloring book and maybe make it an annual thing..and something else? what is a good favor, that goes with the theme?

and food. I am planning to serve hot food (dhs orders, I wanted to do pizza, he wants me to cook)...any foods you can think of that "go" with the carousel theme that can be make in bulk and will stand up to sitting on sternos for a few hours?

finally, an outfit for Luce.....what should he wear?
