Patchogue area info Please

Can anyone tell me about the town of Patchogue. Also the Patchogue Medford schools.
I love some of the older homes in the area.But i am a little concerned with some things i saw while driveing through the area with my family.
We saw something we liked in the village.

I am sure just like almost everywhere there are good and bad spots.But i would like to hear your input.Thanks

They are doing a lot of work to the village, south of Montauk is a bit nicer and less noise. I think (personally) stay away from Eagle estates, Im sure I will get flammed for this but in my own experience it has never really been a "great" area. I know MANY people that live ther and would say the same thing, but bought because the price was right. I live and patchogue and have no problems, I do have some shady (weird) neighbors but Im fine with that as long as it doesnt upset my applecart.

I'm from the area grew up there since I was 5 years old. My parents still live Roe Blvd. My older brother lives in the Village We also all went to PMHS Great town If you want you can FM any questions or areas that you saw that you were not interested in.

I know back in the day Eagle Estate used to be not so hot but I think that has changed or the past few years. But that area is Medford and not Patchogue
