I saw a photo of him maybe 6 weeks ago, and he looked awful. I hope he goes in peace. It seems as if he's been preparing for it. My prayers are with him and his family.

I just can't bear to hear this...he is my all-time favorite and I just love his humanity and compassion. When he's gone, we will have lost a hero! The Hole in the Wall Gane is such a great charity.

Its so sad. 
Its really terrible that he was a chain smoker for years and then was able to give it up--but still the lung cancer happened.
He really is one of those legends in Hollywood.
