Paying off credit card?
I have a large (for me) credit card bill (under $4,000) My husband was laid off but while he worked for the city he started a pension. There isn't a lot in there so we are going to take the money out. Should I put the money in savings or use it to pay off the credit card bill. Monthly for the card I will plan to pay slightly more than the minimum - but if I pay it off it would save me 70-100 a month. What do you think? and we are trying to save for a house. Thanks

Re: Paying off credit card?
If you are paing interest on the card, I would pay it off and put the $70-$100/ month towards your house fund. Since you planned on paying it anyway.
