My friend is transferring me $$$ through paypal that she owes me. Does paypal take a percentage out?

well I'm not sure if its the same, but when a buyer pays me, they charge me a fee.

If you have a personal account and your friend does a bank or balance transfer (not a credit card payment) you should be ok.
