PCOS

Hi, I am curious to know if anyone has experience this.
I never knew I had PCOS until I miscarried the first time. I was told then that I did, however, I've always had regular periods, did not have any issues getting pregnant as both times it only took one try, but I did have trouble maintaining the pregnancy was put on metmorfin among other medications. So, my DS is almost 18 months old and was recently tested that I no longer have PCOS? has this happen to anyone? should I get a 2nd opinion? what should I be looking out for?
Thanks

Re: PCOS

Pregnancy has been known to 'right' the body of weird hormonal things. So it's possible.

However, I was first diagnosed with PCOS in 2005. I always had regular periods until about 2002, so I fully questioned the diagnosis. (Because I had heard so many girls diagnosed with PCOS knew something wasn't right in their teens and early twenties. But I could set a clock to my cycle from it's onset in puberty til my late twenties.) I pushed for more testing and answers. I found out that PCOS was an effect of a newly diagnosed problem. Once they began to correct my new problem, the PCOS went away. Yet, oddly enough, PG actually helped my newly diagnosed problem too. So, odd things happen in PG.

I hope you get the answers you need. I always push for a second opinion. FM me if you'd like to talk some more. Chat Icon
