PCOS- There is hope for us afterall
Little backstory...
Ever since I first got my Period back when i was 12, I NEVER EVER EVER had a "normal" cycle. EVER. I would get it maybe 2-3times a year. Sometimes not at all. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 17 (i'm almost 30 now). Was told I would probably have a very hard time conceiving children on my own.
Was able to get pregnant on my own in Jan 09. Then I miscarried at 9wks in Feb09. Then of course after my D&C, I never had another AF. So finally 16 weeks after my D&C i saw an RE. Was put on metformin, clomid and had an IUI. Got pregnant on the first try with my 1st DD. I received my first AF 6wks PP. Great! Then my cycles after that were anywhere from 32-48 days. Then all of a sudden I had a 70+ day cycle. Then I got pregnant on my own with DD2. I got my first AF after her at 7wks PP (Great again!) Then I didnt get another AF for over 120 days (here we go again!)...then all of a sudden the unthinkable happened...
I started having normal cycles!!!!!
Had AF 10/15, 11/15, 12/14 and now 1/12 
I can't believe it. I was shocked when AF showed up yesterday!!!!!!!! So after this long drawn out story I just wanted to say there's hope for us out there to be "normal" like everyone else

I was never officially diagnosed with PCOS but had all the symptoms.
After having DD my cycles have never ever been more regular.
I truly feel the pregnancy regulated me to the point of a miracle!

congrats!!!!!! im 8m pp and only slightly BF still and no AF yet. i was regular prior to going on BCP as a teen, then i was completely irregular after coming off BCP to TTC... wondering whats gonna happen next..

I was diagnosed with slight pcos before DS. Since I had him my cycles have been regular and I conceived dc 2 on my own.

that's awesome!!! I'm unfortunately not regular - 10 months pp
but I am put on birth control and 2,000mg metformin so something is hopefully working!!!

pcos here too and had crazy cycles my whole life! started having regular cycles once ds2 was born.. i now get af every 31 days to the hr!

I'm 4 months pp and bfeeding and have been staining/having full periods since pp bleeding finished at 8 weeks.
