Pediatric PT Recommendation
Does anyone have a pediatric PT that they can recommend? The services are for my 4 1/2 month old daughter. We live in Patchogue. Thanks!!

Did you call early intervention yet? That would be your first step. Why does your daughter need PT

Call Early Intervention they may be able to help.
Also, we used to go through the Therapy Center for Kids in Patchogue. Loved the PT there!

Two of my kids have/are receiving PT through EI. I use Pediatric PT. They are based in Commack but their therapist s travel. I have been extremely pleased with them and have used them for 2 years now. My son's speech therapist and SEIT were also through them.

EI said it wont go through them since the Neurologist already gave me the prescription.

I really dont understand why you couldnt get services just because you have a script. Tell them you want an evalutation

I would call EI again and ask for an evaluation.
Odd they won't do it.
We used Pediatric PT as well. They're wonderful.

I would definitely call EI again. Just say you are requesting a PT Evslutsion because you have some concerns regarding your child's development. They can't tell you. "No".
