Pediatrician Rec, Levittown/Bethpage or close surrounding area
Can anyone recommend a great pediatrician? I'm really looking for somoene with excellent bedside manner and someone who explains things without seeming annoyed and who is willing to listen to what the parent shave to say. Also someone who will be ok with only give one vaccination at a time. I'm fine with having to go to the doctor more times if it means DS is only getting one vaccination at a time.

Not sure about the vaccination policy because I didn't request that but Central Long Island Pediatrics in Old Bethpage is in that area.
Dr. Wolfson is my fav but they are all great.

Love them, when my DS had surgery from his ENT, the dr i use was on vaction in florida with her family and called me to check on my son. Not sure about the vaccination policy I think they do 2 at time. My boys are 15 and almost 10 been going there for 13 years.

im not sure about the vaccine thing, but my ped is absolutely amazing. i found her from here, many ladies here use her. shes really down to earth and feels more like a friend than a doctor.

Pediatric Associates of Plainview on South Oyster Bay Road.....Drs, Nayor, Kaden and Rabinowitz. Rabinowitz is my least fave, but the other two are amazing. I never feel like any question is too annoying/stupid. Regular check ups are scheduled to be a half hour so they can be thorough. Phone number is 516-822-1400.

Not 100% sure of the vaccine policy but my dr doesn't like giving more than 2 shots at a time he might be willing to do one at a time if u asked.
Dr grillo in Levittown sorry dont have the exact address right now but it's by the levittown library

Dr Grillo in Levittown? Next to library before the dunkin donuts.. In the building Behind calda pizza. We love him, recommended soo many people they lovek him as well!!

GREAT bedside manner...you never feel rushed. He's a great dr, and the other doctors Ive seen so far are good too.
Open 7 days a week. Call you back right away if you have questions. Office is clean and the rooms are themed and very kid friendly.
I'm really happy there!
Oh, and they give 2 vaccinations at a time which I liked. You go every month.

I take DD to Wantagh Pediatrics which is actually in Bellmore   and have been very happy with them.
We have seen all three of the docs but we've seen Dr. Carlucci the most. What I like about her is that she is a young mom herself. I think her DD is a little over a year so I feel like everything is fresh in her mind and she is open to answer all the "new mom questions". I feel very comfortable calling her and asking her anything.
Drs. Kahn & Axel were great with DD when we saw them, too.
I am not sure about vaccinations, but we have done 2 at a time. I had concerns about vaccinations and Dr. Carlucci listened and gave me her honest opinion. Same for the flu shot which we ended up giving DD.
Another thing I like are their hours. Monday- Friday 9am - 12pm then 2 - 5pm. So they do the well visits at 9 and 2 before all the sick kids come in. We never had to wait in the waiting room for a well visit.
