pelvic rest question
Does pelvic rest mean just no intercourse...or no "Os" for me at all? I've read mixed things online and my doctor just said no s e x, so I'm not sure. It's been 2 weeks and I'm going a little

oh wow! I give you credit! I'm trying to just take it a day or say at a time cause when I think about not doing it for 5 months, I can't imagine!

Re: pelvic rest question
Talk to your Dr. I was not allowed to O. It depends on what is making you go on rest.

Re: pelvic rest question
We are on pelvic rest, too. When I asked what that was my OB whispered "S-E-X"

Re: pelvic rest question
No O-ing for me because it contracts the uterus -- depends on why you are on pelvic rest

Re: pelvic rest question
At my last visit, my doctor said it was okay. Yesterday I went to the doctor b/c I had some pretty moderate to heavy bleeding Tuesday night and he said no s e x for a few days so not to wonder if it was that, that would cause bleeding. No big deal for me anyway since I'm terrified and have been on pelvic rest since right before my egg retrieval I'm just too nervous!

Re: pelvic rest question
Hmmm....I'm on pelvic rest for placenta previa. I might just call the doc and ask, but I'm a little embarassed to call about that. I meant to ask at the appointment when I got put on rest (I knew it was a possibility going in) but totally forgot.
