pencil sharpner?
Any suggestions? Im first grade so we do a lot of writing :) I need a heavy duty one for next year

Honestly, I only use mine to sharpen them for the first day. I have my class take their pencil cases home to sharpen them. I HATE the noise.
But to answer your OQ, I think mine is an exacto.

As long as you don't try to sharpen colored pencils in them, any of them are good. the one in my classroom has been destroyed by colored pencils.

That's a really good idea! My kids are always using the sharpener as an excuse to get up and walk around the room 
I tried making a "sharpener only first thing in the morning" rule but that just never lasted......
