People familiar with Bethpage...please come in
So i just started working in Bethpage in September and i am not completely familiar with the area. I made a right from Central Blvd. onto Stuart Ave. Of course as i'm opening the mail today, there is a ticket for making a right on red. This completely blows my mind. I NEVER turn on red if there is a sign posted. Based on the pics, there is no sign next to the traffic light and appears to be no sign posted at all. Does anyone know if there is a no turn on red sign there? I will check after work tomorrow or the next day but it is really bothering me.

I don't know if there is a sign there. I guess you were going South and then west?
I know those cameras flash all the time. I think it''s bogus. The next time I drive by there I will look.

thanks.....I took Bethpage Pkwy north...got off at central ave made a right .... took it straight and made a right onto stewart.

My friend got a ticket at this exact light. They should have sent you a link to the video so you can see exactly what caused the ticket and if there's a sign. These cameras are catching every single little wrong move. There have been tons of complaints about them.

Yep, I live right there. I never turn on red there anymore. Because I think even though there is a turn on red, you have to make a complete stop. Even then the camera goes off! They should definitely make that a no turn on red if this continues. Sorry about your ticket!
