PEOPLE THINKING OF DOING THERE BATHROOMS OVER BEWARE!!!!!!!!
so the contractor gave us a list of things to buy .....tub,toilet,sink faucet shower body etc......so we did
so the bathroom is finished now and it is absolutely beautiful
ACCEPT the shower body we got is called a Pressure Balancing Posi-temp (MOEN)
it only has one speed FULL FORCE....so when you run a bath it turns cold in 20 seconds because its full force and since we dont have a hot water heater we are out of hot water in 20 seconds
there is nothing we can do about it now because its the valve behind the wall
it didnt say this anywhere on the box
I am so upset right now

ask him to access the pipes through the back( if its not an outside wall). Then her can repair your sheetrock, unless it was his first time doing plumbing, he should have known better. Was he a licensed plumber?

I think he needs to come back and fix that,,,,how are you going to shower or take a bath with no hot water???

we need to get a hot water heater now
we can take a hot shower because a shower doesnt use as much water pressure as you do when you run a bath

Did you check what the temp is set at on your boiler? We had the same issue and it wound up our heat was set really low...
Either way, I'd get the plumber back there and reassess the situation.
