Period every week for a month @10 weeks PP

A little help needed. My best friend delivered her daughter via c-section a week before I had Liam. Her postpartum bleeded ended around 5 weeks she said and the last 4 weeks she has had a period every week. She said twice it was the day after sex and the other 2 just were on their own. Her doc perscribed Provera to level out her hormones and see if that is the problem and the on call doc said it probably wasn't that, that it is probably an infection because she shouldn't be having period while breatsfeeding(which is what i thought too) let alone 4 periods in 4 weeks and the blood has an odor which makes him believe it's an infection, she doesn't know who to believe but just wants the bleeding to stop. I have no idea what to tell her, any advice.....could it be some placenta left in there or an infection? At 10 weeks post partum i wouldn't think a uterine infection....she doesn't wany to call the doctor back because of the conflicting diagnosis, i mentioned ER but she isn't sure....anyone have something like this....

is she SURE it was AF? it could have very well been spotting PP. I remember having a huge (one day) bleed around 6 weeks and then AF didnt show up until 19w PP. I didnt really bleed after I left the hospital (csection) but there were a few days here and there that I would bleed.

If it is every week, I doubt it is AF, just her body regulating PP.
