Personal Space
Do you get annoyed when someone invades your "personal space". I was just at Marshalls and this woman behind me was seriously breathing down my neck. She was standing 2 inches away from me. Every time I moved, she did too! I finally turned around to give her a "look" and she proceeded to attempt conversation.  Can I just shop in peace please?????????????

That is one of my top pet peeves. My solution, start tossing your hair as if you dont know they are there. They will step back. Or start shifting around in your personal space and if you step on their foot, oh well.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I HATE THAT! I was at Target once and this moron behind me kept hitting me in the azz with her cart. I finally said "do you mind?"

I HATE when people invade my space. I have told people to stand back in stores, uncrowded trains, etc.
Even at work. Get your own desk, don't stand behind me

I HATE when people get too close to me, and I especially hate it when I'm on line somewhere and they almost stand NEXT to me!

I have an issue when people with smoke on their breath invades my space. I have to step back before I dry heave. Sorry smokers but it happens often.

that ALWAYS happens to me in Marshalls or homegoods or tj maxx!!!
and the "invader" always smells like they were frying in oil and spiced breadcrumbs  like they just walked away from the stove to come annoy me

Hate it and notice it more often now that Im hormonal and pg!!
Not too long ago I was on express line at supermarket. Lady behind me had her cart so up near my AZZ (cause she kept pushing it) and sure enough it hit me once, twice but NO 3 times!
I said , Maam...could you excuse me and your cart!
She said sorry and said, I didnt realize!
Hello?? U were PUSHING IT and how did you not feel it HIT ME!
I was mad!

Yes and I get mouthy when they do.
One time at the supermarket, DH and I were on line and some WT lady crept her cart all up in DH's butt. I looked at her and said "Back up and give him some breathing room".

How about when you are on line and some reeks of Perfume or cologne like they bathed in it? OMG it like can you please stand back because my sinuses are having a reaction to your cologne/perfume now. and also when they run over the back of your heels with their cut I actually came home with a scratch because of that.

I just say out loud to the cashier "Who stinks? I have allergies and that is really strong!!!!" They usually take a step or two back. My brother indulges too much and when you kiss him hello, you are left smelling like him!

I know just what you mean... I'm a touch claustrophobic to begin with, so that kind of thing does not fly with me.
I turned to a woman behind me once, who kept hitting me with her pocketbook, was sighing in annoyance at the wait, the whole deal. I said, "Do you really think that crowding me is going to get you there any faster?" She rolled her eyes at me. I switched my pocketbook to my other shoulder and the next time I turned to move up, I swung it as wide as I could.

I have this problem a work with my boss! He comes to my desk, puts something IN FRONT of me and then proceeds to point at the paper while standing behind me. I cannot move or even turn my head because he is so freckin close.
To solve the problem:
Next to me, I opened up my file draw (which is shoulder high when I am sitting) all the way. When opened it comes to the back of my chair. Then in the tiny space between the open draw and the back of the cubicle I stacked 2 file folder boxes ... that way it looks like I am in the middle of organizing my file draws
It's the only way to stop him! I tried just the file boxes and he literally barreled through them and made it to my desk!
The man cannot give direction without pointing and reading from a piece of paper

Yes!!!! Or when you're at a restaurant and there is a table next to you that is super close and you feel like they're listening to every word you're saying.
