pet smell in leather couch

Hi! I heard that foaming saddle soap is good for cleaning leather couches to get pet smell out. Anyone ever try this and have it work?

Hmmm! I never thought to try it, but it did help when I used to go horseback riding and we'd clean the leather saddles! I can't imagine it would hurt. I wish I thought of this when we had leather couches!

It's either this works or I pay lots of moola to Stanley Steemer. I'm hoping the cheap options words! ;)

What does it smell like? Pee or just pet?
I have an older leather couch that I have cleaned with pledge which makes it look rejuvenated and smell nice. I would't try it on a nice couch but for a beat up one I would. I saw them use it on a pledge commercial and thought hey why not LOL It makes it look pretty nice for a while. Just make sure you wipe it off really good. My couch was a pretty expensive custom color couch but our dogs and kids destroyed it so now it's just a beat up old den couch. Also, I am sure that saddle cleaner would work well for the leather too :o)

But if it's in the foam under the leather it might come back or you might need to spray some pet enzyme cleaner directly on the foam under the leather. If your cushions unzip you might be able to shove the bottle in there and blast it a few times with enzyme cleaner.
