I think my hair is so much curlier than yours. I want it like my friend in the middle.

i think many of us just admire how beautiful your curls are...
so many people are going for the straight look nowadays (which is nice) but its so nice to see a girl with beautiful natural curls.....

believe me, I paid $$$ to have my hair striaghtened and I bought a flat iron... but when i go out with curly hair and with straight hair, I get more ocmpleiments on my curly hair, from men AND women!! I dont think i could ever do it..
although to get those curls to behave, it takes WORK!!!!!!

I hear ya. My new trick is when my hair is wet, I rub in serum and then I add mousse or gel. But it isn't a surefire way to go.

Kdlace..u have gorgeous curls and I would probably stick with that had I had your hair. My curlyness was different....very frizzy and no matter how much gel, mousse, shampoo, conditioner...it wasnt as nice as urs. I did the JS and very happy.

thank you.. i understand what youre saying but I have known Karissa on here since we were planning our weddings back in 03-04 and I always just loved her hair.....believe me, my curls are a PITA and they take work!!!
btw... your hair is beautiful.. i am not knocking js..!!!

Honestly, I am a big fan of JS and 2 of my friends have it and love it! ( one has done it 2x and the other is debating a secind round as she misses her curls.
I would have done it as well if I liked my hair PIN straight ( I like a bit of body in it for my face) and I wasn't such a chicken.
Karissa, you are a very pretty girl and I can understand why you want to do it-
I mean this humidity is nothair friendly.
I mean it, whatever you do - you will look gorgeous!

My curls are lots of work, but I really like the fact that I have a choice about whether I wear it curly or straight. I am so glad that I have the option. JS does sound easier and it looks great on anyone who's had it done. I have thought about it, but I don't know if I would ever do it because knowing me, 2 months later I'd want it curly again.
I'm sure you'll look gorgeous whatever you do.

I agree...I don't think JHS is a bad thing...but for someone who has frizzy curls.
IMHO YOU have beautiful curls...most do not.

don't do it!! Your hair is beautiful!!! i agree, your hair is much prettier than your girlfriend's locks. It is so nice to be able to go from curly to straight, especially with the cooler weather coming it is such a great option to be so versatile. I have learned to love my curly hair, the cut and product os key!!!! Don't do it Karissa!! (although I love the way some you curly haired girls look with straight hair )
