Re: PGD Testing
I believe it varies depending on who/where is doing it... I think I've heard around $6000. Also I think it's per batch not per embryo. Some of the other ladies should be able to answer this for you.

Re: PGD Testing
It depends on what you are testing for and how many tests you need to have done.

Re: PGD Testing
There is a fee to your RE and to the lab doing the testing. The cost is going to vary on what kind of testing you want done and what lab you are using.
Here's the price list for reprogenetics: Aneuploidy Screening 12 chromosomes - $2,810 9 chromosomes - $2,350 Extra chomosomes - $325 Sperm analysis 5 chromosomes - $1,675
There was a fee to my RE of $2250 I believe for the actual removing of the cells and sending to the lab. The above fees are per batch, not per embryo.
Reprogrentics has other testing but since I am only doign the chomosome testing, i dont know what the others tests are. If you need more information, please feel free to FM me!

Re: PGD Testing
I went through PGD testing for an x-linked disorder.
We used Genesis genetics in detroit michigan.
The costs were $3750 with them for building the probes and the first round of testing. If it doesn't work the first time then you pay $2750. Both of these include the $250 shipping fee. We sent it in to insurance (after being approved) for reimbursement. My insurance covered some of it, but DH"s insurance covered the rest.
As for the cost with the RE, it depends on where you go. I believe with my RE it was in the neighborhood of $5500. That is for biopsy. That cost is on top of the IVF cost. You then also have to do a 5 day transfer because of the time it takes for testing and receiving of results.
GL to you. any more questions you can FM me.
