photography classes

I'm looking into getting my 1st DSLR and I don't want it to sit in my closet collecting dust with the rest of my paraphernalia of hobbies past. Does anyone know of a good place in LI that offers photography classes?

I bought my first DSLR last October.

I signed up for 2 classes at Berger Bros in Syosset. But they are at the end of May, so I can't give an opinion yet.

I also found that the site www.365project.org really helped by getting me to use the camera.

I also bought a book specifically for my make and model camera, its so much better than the manual. Its by David D. Busch, he seem to have a lot of books for different cameras
