I don't watch the show- the woman in black is not a Duggar sister, right? She is married to their brother? But she looks an awful lot like the girls, IMO.

Yep thats the brothers wife.
I just can't wrap my head around the fact that the groom is only 19. I have an almost 18 year old & he barely know his azz from his elbow! Senior in HS stressing over college applications. Let alone be someones DH!!

awww they look really happy. She looks gorgeous and her dress was beautiful. I really love the grooms mens attire as well. Not feeling the bride maids dresses.

Jessa did look beautiful. I am surprised at the gown, but I love it.
The Groom's suit seems too casual compared to Jessa's gown. I didn't realize he was only 19!
Does he even have a job? I know he was working for JimBob so he could live closer to them while they were courting, but is that how he is going to provide for them? I thought that was a pretty big thing for them as far as approving who the daughter can court.
I know this is a more casual wedding, but Derrick should have worn a tie! It is funny how Josh & Anna seem more sophisticated now that they live in DC.
Also, as Father of the Bride, you'd think JimBob could get a suit that fits!

No, not really, but they are "guided" by the family." They are usually people who they know through church or home school groups , so they share the same beliefs.
They do get the father's permission before talking, courting & getting engaged though.
Jill (the pregnant sister who was recently married) met her DH through the dad. He was a mentor/"prayer/partner" or something likw that while Derrick was travellinf doing missionary work & JimBob suggested that he get to know Jill, and they had supervised Skype dates until he got back.
Ben came to their church with a friend or something & then kept coming back to see Jessa even though he lived a few hours away. That almost seems like a normal dating story.
Josh met Anna at a homeschool convention.(she's from FL, the Duggars live in AR)

1. She is a VERY beautiful girl.
2. I LOVE the bottom of her dress. The top of the dress (the cut) is not my taste at all but it suits her.

I don't think any of them went to traditional school (homeschooled) and definitely not college. So the boys (not men!) have probably been working since they were early teens and this is kind of the natural progression. They can't even hug!
When I was head over heels with my first boyfriend I probably would have married him if we couldn't touch and our parents supported us. Thank godddddd this was not the case lol.

I know right!! I know Josh & Anna have been married almost 6 years. I'd like to see these marriages in 10-15 years from now when they're in their early 30s.
