Photoshop classes - Date set August 19th
Since we're at the halfway mark to holiday cards, would anyone be interested in throwing together a photoshop class for me to teach again?
I can focus purely on holiday cards & can show you a few I did last year that you can make yourself using photoshop.
eta. we can cover birth announcements too, if you think it's worthwhile.

UPDATE:
My MIL is coming to town this week - which throws a wrench in the Photoshop class plans for this week. I've rescheduled it for August 19th.
The location is still TBD but it will likely be somewhere in East Northport/Northport area.

We've done a few in Starbucks in East Northport but if we know someone who works for a non-profit we can get a room at Northport library

I think I'm going to do weekly email challenges if i can keep up with it to keep everyone learning until they do their own cards so be prepared for some homework.
Does Aug 6th or Aug 13th work for anyone?
Does anyone work for a non-profit that can reserve a room in the library for us?

Either day works for me....
I just contacted New Horizons Computer Learning Center to see how much it would be to rent out their space. They are supposed to get back to me tomorrow. It may be too expensive, but I thought I'd give it a try. They are located right off 110 and the LIE on Walt Whitman Road.

I have CS3 but will probably be upgrading to CS4 after the class. Anything I'm teaching can be done in Elements as well.
It's at night because I work F/T in the city. So it would be 8pm.

I don't have photoshop - I have Corel Paint Shop Pro X...probably going to switch to photoshop soon enough. But do you think what you teach could be transferred over to Corel.
