Photoshop peeps...refresh my memory!
I no longer have cs2 but cs5 instead. I'm getting used to it...slowly!
Anyway, I want to create this 3d illusion as seen in the picture below.
Basically, it looks as if the image is slightly elevated from another piece of paper and you can see the shadow. I'm trying to create THAT effect.

create a white box and fill it. It should be a separate layer. Send that layer to the back so its behind everything. On your layer pallet click on that layer, and open to effects on it. There will be an option for a drop shadow, you can add it there.
