Picasa Experts!! (and general opinions)

I am messing around with Picasa and teaching it to myself. When I use the Focal Black and White - is there a way to make the colored part of the pic brighter - it showing up more just like a color tint - trying to mess around with wedding pics.

In the pic below - bouquet color is very pale - can I make this brighter/more color?

OK - I brought the pic over to Shutterfly and saturated the color -does the bouquet look like it has more color in it than the first pic?

Are you trying to do this?




If so, what I did was I first sharpened the picture. Then I clicked on focal b&w and played with the sharpness. That made my bouquet much redder. Hope this helps!
