Picking names - somewhat of a vent!!!
It is so hard to pick a name
And since we are team green we have to pick a boy name and a girl name and then DH wants the baby to have a middle name so it is essentially like picking out 4 names
I had my shower yesterday and everyone was asking us what our names were and I had no clue what to say, it is getting really frustrating not being able to find a name I really love or that I don't get sick of hearing after a few days

Re: Picking names - somewhat of a vent!!!
I hear ya...we had the same issue. We are having so we had to pick out one of each, plus middle names (which were actually easier because we used grandparents' names). We just made seperate lists (I used baby name websites). We re-visited the lists a few times and kept taking names off that we didn't like on eachother's lists (and our own if we got sick of the name). We eventually ended up compromising...we chose DH's fave girl's name and my fave boy's name. Now, I use their names when I am talking about them to DH and thinking about them and it feels like that's who they are now

We are going through the same problem. Except we know we're on team
The thing that is making it hard for us to decide & AGREE is our last name. It pretty much ruins ALOT of choices.
Girl names for us was much easier - we had 3 solid choices that we both liked as well as different middle names for each.
Boy names and
People ask us if we have names picked out - depending on my mood I either say "not yet" or "yea, its between 3 choices right now" but I don't list the choices

Re: Picking names - somewhat of a vent!!!
DH and I had a very difficult time coming up with names. We have totally different tastes re: names. We were also Team . Finally, at 36 weeks, DH brought home a baby book. We each went through it and made a list of names we liked. We then crossed off names on the other person's list. By the time we were done, we had 3 girl names and 4 boy names. We ranked them, but didn't want to decide on a name until we saw DC. We actually ended up picking the name that we had ranked 2nd. It was so frustrating trying to decide on names, but I love the name we chose and think it really suits DS. Good luck!

We have no clue either what to name our . Its so difficult, one of the biggest decisions you have to make. I know its me and not DH that is making this so difficult, I can't find anything I love. I've sort of decided that I'll name her when I see her at this point.

Re: Picking names - somewhat of a vent!!!
I am sorry others are also having a hard time but it makes me feel better that I am not the only one I actually finally purchased a baby name book and DH and I are in the middle of making our individual lists so we will see if that helps. It also doesn't help that every time I mention a name, DH makes a movie, tv, commercial, sports or past childhood memory reference about that name he seriously is driving me nuts!!!!
