Never heard of this but I did move our wedding picture from the main wall b/c it looked a little weird, almost like it dominated the room.

Oh no - I've never heard this and I have my LR decorated with 3 of the same formal collage frames. They have black & white photos from the wedding (it's actual a photo of each of us with each immediate family member).

I've never heard of this but come to think of it, I have noticed that many of my family members don't have pics of people hanging in the LR. i guess we'll have to hand our wedding photo in our BR

Never heard of it...growing up my mom always had pics of family in the living room.
we have pics of ourselves and some wedding pics including our enlargement in the LR.
We are waiting to move them when we finally decide on a paint for our bedroom.
could care less though...they make me happy to look at.

i never heard of this either  our enlarged wedding picture is in our LR now... when we move it will either be in our LR or dining room. i also have pictures of my nieces and nephew hanging in my LR.

I have never heard of that either. My parents always had pics of us and other family members in the living room. I have one wedding enlargement in our bedroom and plan on putting another one in our den.

Never heard of that.. I have pics placed all over my house wherever I want. I always get compliments on my house and my decorating. LR/DR/ Den/ BR wherever... I say do what makes you happy. Its your living space.

I've never heard of it and I grew up in a very 'supersticious' (sp) family. We had lots of pics up in the den and in the LR, we had 3 family portraits from the 1920's.

I have heard of this too... I have family pictures in my family room only... I have a few pictures on my desk in my home office... but.. the living has nothing but paintings

Never heard this - how weird. I have my largest wedding picture (11x14 maybe) in my formal living room - it was place it looked best to us. My shelving unit in that room are adorned kiddie and family pictures.

I did hear this too.
I actually find it odd when people hang pics of their children or other people in their own bedroom. To me I would not want that, esp since it is an intimate room for you and DH and I would not want the pics staring at me, lol. But that is JMO.
I have our wedding pic in our living room, but if I was selling my house, I would remove any pics and replace them with simple artwork.
i would not want the wedding pic in the bedroom as I would never get to see it.
I know it seems silly but ITA with you on this one! There are no pics of people in our bedroom, but we do have lots of pics of people in our living room (I've never heard of the superstition). I think a family portrait or wedding pic can be a very formal decor if that is what you are going for.
