I bought this BCBG dress last fall. Do you think I can get away with it? It's satin and each "stripe" is a satin band.

Too much white, IMO.
Personally, I wasn't bothered by people wearing white at my wedding - but many brides are.

One of my friends wore a very similar dress to my wedding and I can't tell you how many times people have commented on her wearing that dress to my wedding. It didn't bother me, but I don't know if it would bother your SIL

ITA someone wore the same (or similar) dress to my wedding 
ETA: you can see her in this pic- def. not mistaken for the bride in any way (my wedding was 9/1 though- so it was alot warmer)
