yay, I did it when she was 3 months old....it was a nighmare (when the lady was piercing her 2nd ear it did not go all the way through and she had to do it again) but I am glad I did it when dd was young...she has had no adverse reactions, she does not even know they are there

6 years later, still no earrings.
Mine were done when I was an infant and sadly, I spent my childhood with infected ear lobes and searching for earrings that would not break my ears out. I NEVER found any that worked.
anyway...i am waiting until she wants them and wants to take care of them herself and can understand if they're infected (should they be). she hasn't even asked or wondered.
I really resent that I appear to have pierced ears and can't wear earrings.
