PIO shot and hitting a vein PLEASE HELP!

PIO shot and hitting a vein PLEASE HELP!
Dh just gave me my PIO shot he pulled back and saw no blood. he pushed in the PIO kinda fast and i had A LOT of blood come out but only for a sec this was after the PIO was in me. i went to take the needle off to put it in the container and there was blood on the inside of the needle head not a crazy amount maybe a few little drops, im freaken out that dh might of hit a vein but he didnt see blood when he pulled back. IF he did hit a vein, am i going to be ok?

ugh ok im glad to hear that! thank you for replying!!!im a mess right now that im going to die or something  did it hurt a little more then normal. i think he might of def injected in the vein

It most likely wasn't a vein, but a blood vessel near the surface of your skin. I have never done PIO but I have to do lovenox injections every day, and once in awhile there is blood just like you described. If he pulled back and there was no blood then you most likely were not in a vein.
