I just checked Daffy Apples bc I'm looking into doing this for SIL baby shower and they charged $46.50 for shipping of 72 apples. I think I'll look somewhere to not buy online.

i got them for my twins first birthday from the candy store in coney island. i don't know the name of it off hand, but i ordered 50 of them and picked them up that morning. they were a hit!

EXACTLY what I was going to say! There is a store by my sister at the Jersey Shore about an hour and a half away. My dad won't let my sister in the house unless she brings one home for him!

my mom ordered 30 caramel apples covered with various candies (m&ms, oreos, etc) for my shower ... they were SUPER-cheap (like $2 each i think). She got them at tri-county so it's nice that we didn't need to pay shipping or whatnot.

sorry i'm not sure who the vendor is ... i know they're located towards the middle of the store on the side further from hempstead tnpk. It's one of the food places - they sell candy apples and other foods year round.
