Plane with 8 month old

Help me ladies i dont know what to do! tomorrow my DH and I are going to a family wedding in FLA- flight is 3 hours. We will only be there for 2 nights- I can bring my DS or leave him with my parents. I have been missing him so much while at work so I was thinking of bringing him now- or is it too stressful its only 2 nights and he will be safe and happy iwth my mom and dad?? He is a pretty easy happy baby so I am not too worried about the plane ( but he will not have his own seat) WWYD? If I do bring him - what do I need to have on the plane with me? Can I bring his car seat or no you have to check that? Thanks so much for your advice!!

I am not an expert on flying with children but I think the main thing you need to ask yourself is whether or not your son will be going with your/is welcomed at the wedding itself and if not, what wil your options be for care durign the event.

I would decide based on that whether I take him with me or leave him with my parents.
