Planning a surprise party for DH, which theme?
His bday is at the end of August.
He LOVES football and every time we have a BBQ (which the party may be), he always wants a Tiki theme.
SO, which theme for the bday party Football OR Tiki?

Since he mentioned wanting a tiki theme..I'd go for that theme. Although..you could still mix the both I suppose. Either sounds fun, though.
My vote is for Tiki.

I voted for tiki, because its something that he wanted. A bbq can be fun, and if he loves football maybe he can get a game going

I voted Tiki. Football seems kind of irrelevant in August (then again, I'm not a fan). Everyone will enjoy the Tiki theme—not just the football heads. Thirdly, it will create more ambiance than football stuff.

Definitely Tiki - he's mentioned it already and football season doesn't start for a couple months.

Tiki! The decorations are fun, you can get stuff cheap at Target and you can make fun drinks and fun food.

I'd go for the tiki theme, especially given the time of year you are talking about.

Re: Planning a surprise party for DH, which theme?
I threw a huge surprise Luau for DH for his 30th birthday last year. It was a blast. FM me if you are interested in decorations. I was going to put them out a garage sale in the near future but if you could use them I will give them to you. The $$$ adds up so I am sure it could help you.
