Re: Plans for the weekend
So excited even though I have a lot of running around to do. I get to see friends and family all weekend :)
Going to listen to some live music which is great as I have missed it so badly. They started months ago but I prefer to sit outside in the warmer weather.
Going to a wedding. Long time coming for this couple so super excited.

Plans for the weekend
My plan is baseball. Lots and lots of baseball. No different from any other spring weekend.

Re: Plans for the weekend
Two communion parties and have to go to NJ to celebrate my MIL birthday and belated Mother's Day. Way too busy for my liking.

Re: Plans for the weekend
Spending all day Sunday "camping". Still can't camp overnight, but I'm spending the day with my Scouts at a campground where we'll build a fire, chop some wood, learn a bunch of outdoor skills, etc.
Not sure about Saturday yet.

So glad that I am done with all of that. Kids have work and places they run around on the weekends. Many times not home for meals too so hubby and I have been taking advantage of going out or getting stuff for lunch and dinner. Sooo much cheaper lol

Re: Plans for the weekend
Same as usual, hanging out with DH and the kids. Probably go for a hike or two and then we want to get the new BBQ built in time for Memorial Day.

New BBQ, that has nice. I have to still get propane for ours lol. I use the Power XL so much for grilling that I haven’t even bothered to use the BBQ yet.

Plans for the weekend
My boyfriend's neighborhood is having a neighborhood-wide yard sale in a month so I'm going to spend all my extra time going thru my stuff to sell/get rid of. I've had plenty of time to do it but I never got around to it - I do better when I have a deadline.

Yeah sometimes it is better to do with the stress on you as you might be more relaxed, if that makes any sense lol

I love all the things you do with your scouts. I hope when my son bridges to Boy Scouts he has someone as dedicated as you in his Troop. Do you mind me asking what Troop you are with?

Last summer I bought a Blackstone Griddle which is really nice and we used that for a lot of our summer cooking. We also have the Weber charcoal grill but as much as I love the smell of charcoal, getting a whole fire going especially when you have just a few things to throw on the grill is such a pain. So we got a Weber gas grill. Between the griddle and the BBQ I should be able to cook up a storm this summer.

We have a Weber grill too and love it but since it is usually only 2 or 3 of us eating, it is easier to just do it inside.
