Please help - starting preschool and the potty (kind of long)

Ok, we went to the open house at Andrew's preschool yesterday and I was even more happy with everything than when we first registered. DS will be starting the 3 year old program 2 days a week.

The only issue I am kind of freaking out about is the fact that DS is 98% potty trained but I am still in that "watching for the pee pee and poop dance" and I still wipe him when he goes #2.

The preschool advertisement states that potty training is not required however when I was there yesterday, one of the teachers said that they wait outside the bathroom while a child is in there and "do not wipe them". So I'm confused, how can they say potty training not required but no wiping?

On one hand, I'm happy that strangers wont be touching him "there" but he cant walk around not wiped. I am teaching him to wipe now but school starts in 3 weeks. And what if he has an accident? That same teacher said that if he has a pee accident and I have provided a change of clothes, they will change him. But what if its a #2 accident?

Can anyone give me their experiences with this?

Wow not 1 person has any advice huh? Thats ok... I called the school. Thanks anyway.
