Are you using room temp water? I tried it with cold and it doesn't mix at all. I put the water in the bottle, then add the formula and shake a few times and it's pretty smooth.



Yes, this is the trick.

The colder the water the more lumpy the formula.

The warmer the water, the smoother the formula.

I experimented one day and did a test with hot water... no lumps.

We use room temp, shake vigorously and no lumps.

I have ZERO idea when it comes to this stuff, but I'm just curious.... Could you also use the Magic Bullet (if you have it in your house) to mix the formula?

It might make it TOO foamy. You don't want the formula too foamy either.
