Please Help Little Shelter ASAP!!!!
I just got this email from Little Shelter in Huntington (my Mom donates), it's part of their newsletter.
I'm going to drop a few bags of food off this week!
Our Food Pantry is Empty!
The unthinkable has happened. Little Shelter's food pantry has completely run out of food. And to make matters worse a truck loaded with 4,000 pounds of food donations has broken down in Pennsylvannia. Countless homeless cats as well as dogs whose impoverished owners are part of the Animal Soup Kitchen program rely on Little Shelter's stock provisions for their very lives. At this time of year - when many people and their pets tend to have so much to eat- these poor animals face starvation. We desperately need your help to feed the hungry this holiday weekend.
Food donations may be brought to Little Shelter at 33 Warner Road in Huntington between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and from noon until 5 p.m. on weekends. Monetary donations are also always welcome and may be sent directly to Food Pantry at Little Shelter.

Thank you for posting this. Unfortunatley for Little Shelter this happens every now & again. I am going to bring over large bags of food while I am out buying for my dogs tomorrow.

Not on the pet board (no pets) but am looking for an inexpensive place to buy dog food so I can drop it off...also any particular type of dog food?
