Please Help Me Word This?
We recently had to complete self-reviews at work and for part of mine, I talked about how I feel left in the dark, misinformed and as a result, embarrased when people inquire things with me and I don't know them. Now I am part of a team of two - so this indirectly places the blame on my boss, who already is not in such good graces with HR for being a poor manager.
My self-evaluation is supposed to be sent by my boss to HR and her boss, then she writes HER self review. I don't trust that she's sent mine to HR and I want to make sure HR sees it. I want to draft a follow-up email to HR just making sure that they've received it and attaching it in my email just in case.
How would you word this? TIA!
PS - How pathetic is this? I had to lock the document b/c I was genuinely concerned that my boss would change what I wrote....

I don't blame you for locking the document, I would have done the same in this situation.
As for the wording, I think what you wrote was fine. Just say how you want to follow-up and make sure that they received your self-review.

I have no advice for you but I just want to say that the reviewing process at your company stinks.
if they want to know your HONEST opinions, it should all be done in a system that your boss doesn't even see until after it's been submitted to HR.
