Please help with family friendly Caribbean vacations!
I am totally overwhelmed by all the hotels and possible places to go. I have only been to Punta Cana about 10 years ago, which was pre-kids. We would be traveling with a 1 & 3 year old in February. I don't necessarily need babysitting, but I need safe, family friendly places. TIA! If you love a certain place/hotel, please share why!

I know you have already been to Punta Cana , but we love it there and my DS has been there with us 3x (Paradisus Punta Cana) They have a brand new huge kids area and pools with sprinklers etc....Nice short flight which is a major bonus w/ kids
We have also gone to Cancun with him which was fun and one day I'd like to do Turks and Caicos !

Thanks for the info--I am definitely not opposed to going back to punta cana, I will check out this place. Since you have been a few times to this specific resort, any other tips? I was looking into Cancun, but someone told me the water might be a bit too rough for little ones in February. TIA!

Beaches-- they have the sesame characters there and lots for the kids to do. They have a few in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos.

Have you considered a caribbean cruise? Norwegian has Nickelodeon characters, or you could do one of the Disney cruises. very fun-very safe!

I find that most caribbean islands that i've been too are family friendly if you stay in a big resort. alot have kiddie pools and restaurants that kids can go to. I like Aruba and St. Maarten best for kids. But I'm really wanting ot go to Turks and Caicos.

I went to Beaches Turks and Caicos a few years ago. It was FANTASTIC! They had Sesame street characters walk around and Sesame shows. There were still enjoyable things for adults too. I highly reccomend it No complaints at all!. Although, I have heard it has gotte very expensive since I last went.
